Some of the most beautiful are: the rooster of the mountain, with its orange half-moon-shaped ridge, the Amazonian seven-colored, with its vibrant greens and blues, and the harpy, with its inquisitorial look of a bird of prey.
Mammals
It is estimated that there are more than 420 species of mammals in the Amazon. In addition, records indicate the discovery of 20 new species between 2014 and 2015. Among them, one gains greater prominence, as it is larger, a new river dolphin (Inia araguaiaensis), with a more restricted population and probably few individuals.
